“My son and I just made a chart of his summer camps this year and Vilda came out on top as his favorite! ...He is deepening his sense of place and love and respect for the natural world. He has a deeper sense of the seasonal changes and how familiar places change throughout the year. He gets physical exercise outside of a structured sports practice/game. He is building relationships with other adults and children who prioritize a love and respect of our natural world. He is learning that he/we are part of an intricate, amazing, magical system of life on this planet, and his/our choices effect the health and vitality of of the planet and all creatures who live here. He has lots of fun. He has been exposed to literature that has inspired reading experiences at home. He is empowered to teach and show me new things and places when we go out to explore.”

I try to spend as much time as I can with my kids outdoors and was really happy to hear about their adventures at camp.
